July is the perfect time to put on the sunscreen and head outside. With five weekends in July, the National Recreation and Park Association is sponsoring a “5 in July Park Pledge”. To encourage healthy weekend activity, they are asking everyone to go to a park, trail, playground, swimming pool, natural area, or other public space every weekend in July. You can formalize your commitment to get outdoors by signing the “5 in July Park Pledge” online.
