You don’t have to skip dessert during the holidays! With chopped up Honey Graham BeneFit® Bars and seasonal spices as the filling, these baked apples are a perfect wintertime treat! This recipe is a great alternative to those high-calorie temptations of the holiday season!

Ingredients
6 large granny smith apples, equal in size
4 Honey Graham BeneFit® Bars
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
2 tablespoons golden raisins
2 tablespoons dried cranberries
2 tablespoons Maple Grove Farms sugar-free syrup
Nonstick cooking spray
1 cup apple cider or juice
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 345 degrees F.
- Core apples, making sure not to puncture the bottom of the apples so that the juices will remain.
- Remove skin from 1/2-inch around top of apples at the opening. Set aside.
- Chop Honey Graham BeneFit® Bars and combine with cinnamon, nutmeg, raisins and cranberries in a small bowl. Stir in maple syrup.
- Fill each cored apple with the honey graham mixture. Spray the top of each apple with non-stick butter flavor cooking spray.
- Place apples in casserole dish and pour apple cider or juice around them. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for approximately 1 to 1 ½ hours. Remove from heat and serve warm.

This is 275 cal per apple! Decrease the Benefit Bar to 1. Use 1/2 apple juice apples are plenty juicy . Cut about 80 cal and you are under 200 with no flavor loss.
