Weddings, Graduations, and Barbecues…Oh My!

Summer’s busy, food-centered social events could wreak havoc on your weight management goals, especially if you arrive hungry. To enjoy the event without inflicting a lot of calorie damage, fill up on low-calorie foods before you go so you won’t be tempted to grab whatever food is offered. We know it’s an old strategy, but it’s a proven one! Before you go, have an HMR Shake (or even a double shake), a few pieces of fruit, or an HMR Multigrain Hot Cereal. (Try making the cereal ahead of time and put it in the refrigerator to get cold and firmed up.) These are great strategies that could make a real difference in your weight this summer!
