Tangerines are a good source of Vitamin C! With a peak season from November through January, now is the perfect time to enjoy this tasty fruit. Tangerines are great on the go snack and also make an excellent addition to a winter salad!

Selection, Storage and Preparation Tips:

  • Look for soft, puffy, glossy, deep orange skins.
  • Avoid tangerines with small green patches near the stems. Also avoid hollow feeling fruit and any fruit with dented spots.
  • Keep tangerines in a plastic bag in the refrigerator for up to one week.
